The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to patient care and education. *Responsibilities:* * Ensure patient comfort prior to examinations. * Properly sterilize dental instruments. * Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health histories. * Identify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitis. * Clean and protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride). * Educate patients of all ages on proper dental care, including demonstrating effective brushing and flossing techniques. * Provide post-operative instructions to patients after dental procedures. * Take X-rays and dental impressions as needed. * Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various conditions, including oral cancer. * Maintain accurate documentation and charts for each patient.
