*Job Overview* BUSY PPO/FEE-FOR-SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR AN ORTHODONTIST. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, providing patients with comprehensive orthodontic care. You will work closely with patients of all ages, ensuring they receive the highest quality of treatment in a supportive and friendly environment. *Duties* * Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine orthodontic needs and treatment options. * Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations. * Utilize advanced dental fabrication techniques to create custom orthodontic appliances. * Perform various orthodontic procedures, including adjustments, fittings, and removals of braces and other devices. * Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care. * Educate patients and their families about oral health, treatment processes, and post-treatment care. * Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics and related technologies. *Qualifications* * Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. * Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program. * Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures related to orthodontics. * Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required. * Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
